In my feminist thinking, the question of the systemic invisibility of women has come to playfully rub shoulders with my work as a puppeteer. Even as in 2025 we patiently uncover all the places where women are repeatedly erased (in history, in public spaces, in our daily lives), I questioned the link between my struggles and my practices. My contradictions too. How, in particular, do I invisibilize myself for the benefit of the object and blend into the background, or on the contrary, how do I kill the puppet and come to take the light? Why I chose this particular profession. Hooded or not, with or without a puppet, I invite you to share these reflections, which lead me to the creation of Invisible Woman, a monologue for a woman in the process of disappearing. A disturbing and sociologically proven phenomenon: it seems that from the age of 50, women mysteriously disappear from our representations...
But where are they going?
