Short film – Confined puppet
Duration 5 min – All audiences from 5 years old
In the midst of lockdown, the CCAM, Scène nationale de Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy, generously offered me carte blanche as part of its "Horizon" project.
But invent now? Produce? With all this chaos inside and out? Or give up? And abandon a space of freedom? One more?
Definitely not.
So, I threw myself, head in the void, into a short creation, choosing an artisanal, raw and instinctive proposition, which I hope will be conducive to transport and poetry.
Here then are the vertigoes of an idle person.
A few shared twilight and nocturnal impressions, put into images and music. “Oisive” explores the notion of confinement in this unprecedented context but also takes a look at the female condition in general.
Between reverie and nightmare, this short film offers us an emotional journey through a suspended month of April.
Thank you to the CCAM team for their trust, their support, and for allowing us to continue creating when everything seems frozen.
